NEW VERSION OF THE DIGITAL CABLE TUNER DIAGNOSTICS TOOL RELEASED
MCIA has released a new version of the Digital Cable Tuner Diagnostics Tool for its members. This application is designed to help integrators set up and diagnose issues with Windows Media Center® and CableCARD. Click here for more info.

The following work groups are available for MCIA members to join:
Best Practices and Tools Work Group
The purpose of the Best Practices and Tools Work Group is to identify and publish a set of best practices and associated tools for the MCIA membership base that will enable members to be successful in scoping and installing solutions based on the Media Center ecosystem.
Education Work Group
The Education Work Group facilitates the planning, development, and deployment of standardized training for the Custom Installer channel on the basic principles of selling, installing and servicing Windows Media Center and related technologies.
Marketing/PR Work Group
The purpose of the Marketing/PR Work Group is to raise adoption and awareness of the MCIA, including promotion and benefits of the organization.
SDV Work Group
The purpose of the SDV Work Group is to address the SDV situation for cable TV by proactively working with MSO's and Cable Labs to expedite solutions for Media Center to enable SDV and to try to stop and/or slow down SDV rollout until a SDV solution is ready for Media Center solutions.
